Day 5 - Bryce Canyon

Did our usual start at the visitors center to watch the movie.  We learned that Bryce Canyon is the first geological stairstep that then ends in the Grand Canyon.  Then went and hiked at the upper rim of the canyon around Sunrise Point.  Scenery and weather were awesome.

Contemplating the meaning  of it all

The brightest  blue sky we have ever seen!

We also decided to rent ebikes for an hour.  They have an excellent paved biking trail, about 5 miles long:

On our way home we got this neat shot, wonder how they made that?

After all this we are tired.  Stopped at a grocery store, then planning to visit Outlaws Saloon for beer and grub.  Early bedtime tonight, bet we sleep well!

Addendum.  Outlaws was very good, esp the beer.  And we sat at the bar, meeting 3 guys a little younger than us.  Childhood friends on vacation together.  Turns out one of them lived in Evansville for a few years, met his wife there! He lives in Indianapolis now. Small  world.
